Data Maintenance

Configure your material data system by setting up desired material groups, property groups, properties, parameters, references, and more. Data Maintenance section is structured in two sections: General and Sync Horizon Copies section.

Sync Horizon Copies allows users to update and synchronize materials that contain copied data from Total Materia Horizon.

The General section contains ten different subsections, each allowing for personalized configuration of the material data system. They include the following:

Material Groups

Set up and order material groups, assign property groups to each defined material group and configure up to four levels of material classification.

Property groups

Define and structure property groups along with their subgroups.

Properties

Set up unlimited options for creating properties. For each defined property, assign various property groups (chemical composition, mechanical properties, compliance, CAD data, etc.) and multiple unit groups. Configure properties as links, drop-down lists, and more.

Parameters

Configure parameters as drop-down lists, free-text fields, numbers, or links. Set their visibility for specific material groups, add custom parameter items as needed, and organize them into categories for easier selection and use.

Suppliers

Add supplier data, including detailed contact information such as company name, address, website, and other relevant details.

References

Configure your references and set different reference types (literature, supplier date etc.).

Reference Types

Define new reference types.

Document Types

Define new document types.

Diagram Types

Create and manage different diagram types to visualize material data and properties effectively.

Units

Add various unit groups and configure their items. Define units as metric or imperial and enable unit conversions.
