# Materials Management The Materials subsection of the Creator section is the place where materials and their data are created and managed. Accessing the Creator section will take you directly to the Materials subsection. **Searching** of a desired material is available by entering material name in "Material Designation"

text box, and additionally by selecting available items from drop down lists: "Standard"

, "Material Group"

, "Release Status"

and "Department"

. Clicking the "Search/Clear "buttons will display or reset the list of results based on the defined search criteria. Selecting the "Show deleted materials"

checkbox will include previously deleted materials in search results. [**Creation**](/total-materia-integrator/creator/materials-management/create-materials.md) of the desired material is done by clicking the "Create New Material"

button. This action opens a new pop-up window where the desired material information is inserted.
