# Look Deeper: Filter the Data

When you open a material, it defaults to the Mechanical Properties section, displaying an overview in Synthetic View, which shows properties with average values. To view specific properties and temperature dependencies, switch the slider at the top left to Details View.

In Total Materia Horizon, you'll find various properties tested under different conditions. Each entry includes the material’s heat treatment, form, and data source (references). The selector tool allows you to choose the heat treatment, form, dimensions, and properties needed for a specific material. Note that not every entry includes data for all forms.

The condition selector enables you to view specific properties at various temperatures. Simply leave fields blank and choose only those pertinent to your search. For instance, to find all high-temperature properties for 'Plates, strips,' check the relevant temperature boxes on the left, and on the right, only select 'Plates, strips' under form.
