Export

Total Materia offers a versatile range of export options to seamlessly transfer material data into your CAE software. Instead of manually entering the data into the simulation software, the export functionality allows you to select the values of interest for a simulation and generate a file that is directly compatible with the simulation software. Here is a general guideline:

The exporter is accessed using the dedicated icon , located at the top of every material page.

The first step is then the selection of the format in which to export. More than 25 formats are available.

Export formats available in Total Materia Horizon
  • Generic: XML, Excel

  • CAD: SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, Siemens NX, SolidEdge

The condition search and list permits a quick and simple selection of the necessary values. The values to include in the export have to be selected from the presented list.

Once the values have been selected for all the properties, a summary screen will be presented, allowing you to verify the selected data before proceeding with the export.

Clicking on will generate and download the file to be imported into the CAE software.
