Quick search as efficient way for accessing your material information
What is Quick Search?
Quick Search is a simple and convenient method for finding desired materials. It allows users to search materials by Material Designation, Material Group, and Standard. Its ease of use ensures that users can swiftly input minimal search criteria (such as Material Designation) to receive comprehensive results. Since no search criteria are mandatory, users can click the Search button to retrieve a list of all available materials. With Quick Search, users can choose to search only internal materials (slider on the left), both internal and Horizon materials (slider in the middle), or only Horizon materials (slider on the right). Perform Your First Quick Search
To perform your first Quick Search, simply enter the material name in the Material Designation text box (e.g., 304) and click the Search button.

The search results will be presented in an organized list just below the defined search criteria (see Results and Material lists for more details).

Refine Your Search
To refine your results, additional criteria can be defined using the dropdown menus:
Material Group: Use this dropdown to filter results by material group (metals, polymers, aluminium, polyesters, etc.) or refine search results for specific material designation.
Standard: Use this dropdown to filter results by a defined Standard (Standard Development Organization, e.g. ASTM, EN, SAE etc.) or refine results for specific material designation and/or material group. Note: Internal standards will be clearly classified as 'Internal' in the dropdown.

Important Prerequisites
Before using Quick Search, ensure that Materials, Material Groups, and Standards are added and configured in the CREATOR section of Total Materia Integrator.
Note on access control: Depending on the account settings and user configuration set in the CREATOR section, some material groups may be locked or inaccessible to certain users.
