Material Release Setup

Configure Mandatory Departments, Property Groups, Parameters and Properties for Material Approval

Material Release Setup section allows users to configure mandatory departments, property groups, parameters and properties for each desired material groups. Once the mandatory properties, groups or parameters are defined, material(s) cannot be released unless all previously defined mandatory requirements are fulfilled for the material.

Configure mandatory attributes (property groups, parameters, and properties) for each material group by clicking the button available for each attribute and material group.

To define mandatory property group(s) for desired material group, select the desired group(s) from multi-selecte checklist and click button.

To define mandatory parameters for desired material group, select the desired group(s) from multi-selecte checklist and click button.

To define mandatory parameter(s) for desired material group, select the desired group(s) from multi-selecte checklist and click button.

Materials cannot be released unless all selected mandatory attributes are populated for the respective material. If any of the mandatory attribute is missing, a notification message will be displayed informing the user which attribute needs to be populated before the material can be released.
